It is a bleaching process which blanches discolouration of enamel and dentin.

How it works
Hydrogen peroxide is the active ingredient in Zoom!2's® light-activated whitening gel. The Zoom!2® lamp activates the hydrogen peroxide and helps it penetrate the enamel and dentin of the teeth, bleaching away discolouration without changing the structure of the teeth. The light activation improves the effectiveness of the gel considerably, resulting in an average improvement of eight shades.

The process
To begin with, patient’s lips and gums are covered, leaving only the teeth exposed. Then the whitening gel is applied to the teeth and the lamp is turned on. The whitening process begins. Within an hour the treatment is over.

Is it Safe?
Yes. Extensive research and clinical studies have shown that whitening teeth is safe. Zoom!2®, like any tooth whitening product is not recommended for children under 13 years of age and pregnant or lactating women.

How do I keep my teeth shining?
Regular dental hygiene - brushing twice daily, and flossing regularly - plus occasional touch-ups with Zoom!2® Weekender or Nite White gel will keep your teeth their brightest.

Are there any side effects?
Some patients may experience sensitivity during the treatment. The minimal heat generated by the Zoom!2® light is the usual source of discomfort. On rare occasions, patients may experience minor tingling sensations immediately after the procedure - these always dissipate.

How long does it take?

The treatment takes less than one hour.

Who should not undergo the Zoom!2® procedure
Light sensitive individuals, including those undergoing PUVA therapy or other photochemotherapy, or patients with melanoma should not undergo the procedure. People taking light sensitive drugs or substances (over-the-counter, prescription or homeopathic) should consult their physician before booking. The Zoom!2® procedure is not recommended for children below 13 and pregnant or lactating women
While watching television or a movie, you must have often noticed that the actors and actresses have lovely white teeth that shine like pearls. These people, undoubtedly, have undergone teeth whitening treatment as part of their makeup. For many people, discolored teeth cause a great deal of shame. Fortunately, modern technology helps you to whiten your teeth just like those actors and actresses.

With the help of Zoom teeth-whitening system, you can have your teeth six to ten shades lighter.
